4C Class Assembly

Class 4C recently had their class assembly and we were amazed just how much they had learned on the topic of World War II. Complete with outfits and local accents, the children took us through a tour of just what it was like to be in that time over 70 years ago. At one point we even heard the air aid siren and everyone had to dive for cover! They took us back in time and told us about the war, the air raids, how people took shelter in Anderson and Morrison shelters, rationing and evacuees. This topic also inspired lots of beautiful written work like diary writing.  Have a look at some of the pictures below!
