Recently, we joined thousands of people around the country to help raise money for Sport Relief. All the children and staff left behind their school uniform and formal wear and came to school in sports clothes. Throughout the week classes joined in a ‘Wake up, Shake up’ routine which involved some simple exercise. Today we had 2 assemblies and everyone joined an online body coach and started the day with a quick workout. This got everyone all energised for the rest of the day.

Later in the afternoon we held a dance-a-thon when every class had an opportunity to dance for 15 minutes making the whole dance session last a few hours. This was great fun for everyone. While it as all fun and dance, with everyone’s brilliant effort we were all able to raise a fantastic amount of £569.42. We are glad that all our contributions will go towards a very worthy cause. Thank you all the parents, carers and children who have donated monies. And a big thank you to miss McBride and Ms Ross-Tatum for organising this event. Have a look at just some of the pictures below and see how much fun we had helping to raise the money and awareness!
