- Monday- focus on expanded noun phrases- go through the information PowerPoint and underline where you have used them in your description. Use the Description Success Criteria to help you.
-Tuesday - focus on subordinating conjunctions- go through the information PowerPoint you have been given and identify where you have used them in a letter using colour coded pencils. Use the Letter Success Criteria to help you.
- Wednesday and Thursday- focus on fronted adverbials and using commas correctly. Use your fronted adverbials sheet to help you and underline where you have used them in a recount of your favourite holiday. Use the Recount Success Criteria to help you.
- Friday- Include everything you have learned this week in a description of your dream day (expanded noun phrases with prepositions, subordinating conjunctions, and fronted adverbials with commas). Read and check your work to ensure you have used these all correctly. Use the Recount Success Criteria to help you.

- Each day, complete a lesson from the Active Reading PowerPoint. Remember the skills we need for each one then complete the task you have been set.
- Please also read every day to an adult, carer, sibling or yourself!
- Try to go on the Reading plus website at least 3 times a week. Remember your username and password, and the site code is rpKings8.

- Go through the PowerPoints and worksheets for each day. Follow the links to videos where you can. Remember to do your chanting and Arithmetic questions at the start of the PowerPoint!

This week, our foundation subject focus is Science. We are continuing our learning about living things and their habitats. We have 4 lessons to cover.
Remember we have a Subject Knowledge (SK) LO and a Working Scientifically (WS) LO for each lesson!

1. SK LO: To investigate how liquids affect marine life.
WS LO: To set up simple practical enquiries, comparative and fair tests

2. SK LO: To investigate how liquids affect marine life.
WS LO: To use results to draw simple conclusions, make predictions for new values, suggest improvements and raise further questions

3. SK LO: To recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things.
WS LO: To identify differences, similarities or changes related to simple scientific ideas and processes

4. SK LO: To understand food chains and the role of different plants and animals within them.
WS LO: To use straightforward scientific evidence to answer questions or to support their findings.

5. SK LO: To explore and use classification keys to help group, identify and name a variety of living things in their local and wider environment
WS LO: To gather, record, classify and present data in a variety of ways to help in answering questions

PE: Follow Joe Wicks on YouTube at least 3 times a week and remember to exercise daily!
