- Monday- Watch the video of ‘The Koala Who Could’ by Rachel Bright. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onvSUGmwLn0. Imagining you are one of the other animals, write a letter of encouragement to Kevin, trying to encourage him to come down and play. Use the model and Success Criteria to help you.
-Tuesday – Watch the video of ‘The Koala Who Could’ by Rachel Bright again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onvSUGmwLn0. What do you think Kevin might do next? What adventures could he face? Write a story continuation using the planning sheet, model and Success Criteria to help you.
-Wednesday- Create a poster about a healthy and varied diet, using your DT research to help you.
- Thursday- Write down your hopes for the next academic year, thinking about what you will do to achieve them.
- Friday- Write down your favourite memory from this year, explaining why. I would love to read them!

- Each day, complete a lesson from the Active Reading PowerPoint. Remember the skills we need for each one then complete the task you have been set.
- Please also read every day to an adult, carer, sibling or yourself!
- Try to go on the Reading plus website at least 3 times a week. Remember your username and password, and the site code is rpKings8.

-This week, we are revising division, multiplication and problem solving.
- Go through the PowerPoints for each day, the work will be on the PowerPoint. Follow the links to videos where you can. Remember to do your chanting at the start of each lesson!
-Follow these links to help you with your times tables.
- Do not worry if you find it tricky- just try your best!

This week, our foundation subject focus is DT. We are learning about a healthy and varied diet and have 4 lessons to cover.

1. LO: To understand the principles of a healthy and varied diet, understand seasonality and know where and how a variety of ingredients are grown, reared, caught and processed.

2. LO: To use my research to plan a healthy and varied meal.

3. LO: To create my healthy, varied meal.

4. LO: To evaluate my healthy, varied meal.

See attached PowerPoints (DT lessons 1-4) with the information and tasks for each lesson of the week.

PE: Follow Joe Wicks on YouTube at least 3 times a week and remember to exercise daily!
