Welcome from the Head Teacher

Welcome back to school everybody.

We've had a great start with attendance at 96% and all children staying for the extended day and catch up programs. Children are happy, learning and enjoying seeing their friends.

Our focus this half term is to settle all the children in safely and quickly as well as teaching the full curriculum.

Starting next week please leave your child at the gate in the morning. They can walk to their allocated playground by themselves and there are lots of adults around to help them. In the afternoon please enter through your allocated gate and stand on a yellow marking. When your child is brought down please leave the playground quickly and remember to social distance.

Please hear your child read everyday and homework will be coming home every Friday. As always this must be completed and handed in every Monday.

This year we are further developing our curriculum so that it is exceptional through the introduction of STEAM, enterprise and drama. Y1 and 2 are doing drama this term, 3 and 4 STEAM and 5and 6 enterprise.

I look forward to working with you this term to help the children settle back into school life, thank you for all your support over the last 6 months,

Miss Mollett X
